Recently, Arnell Ignacio, who is the former deputy executive director of the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA), condemn Yolly Villanueva-Ong to her previous controversial tweets against the supporters of President Rodrigo Duterte who were affected by the strong earthquake that hits in Mindanao.
Last Sunday, Ignacio made a statement during his interview with Erwin Tulfo, telling that the tweets of Ong only brought a negative impact on the victims of the earthquake. He said that no matter how much apologies made by the advertising executive if she continues to criticize the supporters of the President, then her sorry looks like not a sincere one.
“Nag a-apologize, pero may sasabihin pa siya, alam mo kinikilabutan ako sa babaeng ito… ang sarap sampalin.”
“Anong karapatan mo na sabihin na ikaw ang gigising sa isip ng mga taga Mindanao na mali sila, parang… sino ka para sabihin na ikaw ang tama at yung mga sumusuporta sa pangulong Duterte ay mali.”
Ignacio also said that this was his first time to encounter such a woman who can tell something bad against Mindanaoans. Even Erwin Tulfo agrees to what Ignacio says.
“Alam mo kahit si Satanas mahihiya sa kasamaan nito.”
Ignacio once again denounced Ong on his another interview on Thursday, telling that she got instant fame due to the controversial tweet that she made.
“Ngayon sikat na siya! Contender na siya na pwedeng mamahala sa impiyerno. Mapapahiya si Satanas.”
Ignacio also explained that the oppositions’ supporters were already disappointed because the popularity of President Duterte was continuously increasing no matter how much effort they put in to destroy his name, that’s why maybe they needed to say such a thing to the people in Mindanao.
“Ibang kasamaan itong bumabalot sa puso at isip ng mga dilawan na ito.”
Ong made several controversial tweets, a few days ago, that went viral online after saying some offensive words to the supporters of the President.
Ong stated in her previous tweet, that is now deleted,
“Hindi pa ba NYO Ma-gest? Gusto na kayong lamunin ng lupa. Magdasal na kayo at humingi ng patawad.”
“Duts should seriously prepare for the afterlife. It’s getting hot, hotter, hottest.”
However, Ong already apologized to the netizens as well as the victims in Mindanao after several days of being criticized.
“I pray that Mindanaoans accept my apology. And I hope this puts closure on this issue.”
